Papua Province can grow independently in the form of reliable transportation infrastructure and facilities in the form of road transportation modes. Given these problems, the transportation system in Papua Province requires comprehensive policies to be optimally useful in supporting the independence of the Papua Province.

A well-integrated mode of transportation is intended to support the services of goods/services to develop rapidly, smoothly, and on time, to reduce economic costs and become a special attraction for investment activities in integrated transportation modes and create synergies between regional development activities. In addition, leading areas that have not/less developed because they are very local are expected to develop with integrated transportation access.

By this connection, the Papuan provincial government has formed a team to accelerate the construction of the Papua Ring Road to assess the feasibility of the development in stages. The case contained in the Pre-Feasibility Study report will be continued with a study in the form of a Feasibility Study.

PT. Pola Agung in the scope of the feasibility study and preliminary design implementation work is:

• The results of field observations carried out the preparation of alternative routes in the existing corridors.
• Road network development plan, design criteria, structure type, construction cost forecast, geological and geometric analysis.
• Based on the results of studies, surveys and data analysis that has been carried out, the Consultant must prepare a Roadworthiness Study Report, which is a refinement of the previous reports.
