Pelabuhan Rembang

Rembang Tanjung Bonang Harbor Pier is located in Sendangmulyo Village, Sluke District, Rembang Regency, Central Java Province. The construction of this pier aims to serve 10,000 DWT general cargo ships and maximize the distribution of commodity goods in the Rembang area and its surroundings. To support the pier, it is necessary to plan shipping lanes, harbor pools, breakwaters, and the dimensions and structure of the pier and its accessories.

The Port of Tanjung Bonang Rembang is planned to face the Northeast with a minimum used depth of -10.5 m, the width of the shipping lane is taken to be 137 m, and the depth of the harbor pool is -10 m. The breakwater structure uses a rubble mound breakwater type for the west and east. The pier structure uses locally cast reinforced concrete with a concrete quality of f'c = 35 MPa. The foundation structure uses steel piles with the quality of JIS A5525, SKK 400, fy' = 2.350 kg/cm2. In planning the structure of this wharf, the structural system is analyzed using the SAP 2000 program with 3D models. The loading and reinforcement of the structure are controlled based on the 1992 SNI and BMS regulations. From the results of the design planning, it is found that the pier consists of a jetty head building and two trestles. The dimensions of the jetty head are 170 m long and 22 m wide, while the dimensions of the trestle are 26 m long and 10 m wide. The dimensions of the pier beams are 40 cm wide and 60 cm high, while the dimensions of the piles are 45 cm in diameter, 1.2 cm thick and 20.65 m long for upright piles and 20, 75 m for inclined piles with a slope ratio of 10 V : 1 H. The dimensions of the pile cap for single piles on the jetty head and trestle are 1 x 1 x 1.5 m. The pile cap dimensions for the double piles on the jetty head are 1.5 x 1 x 1.5 m and the pile cap dimensions for the jetty head edges are 1.6 x 1.2 x 2.6 m. The anchor structure used is Fentek Arch Fender type AN 600 L = 2,500 mm and the mooring structure used is Bollard and Bitt with a capacity of 50 tons.

Shipping lanes and harbor pools are part of port facilities to support shipping security and safety, so these facilities must be free from obstacles, both ship skeletons or coral clusters, so that ships entering/exiting ports are protected from danger/accidents. For the above purposes, it is necessary to carry out a technical survey first in order to indicate the existence of shipping barriers around the port and provide an overview of the prospect of channel/pond development and can then be followed up according to SID results.

PT. Pola Agung Consulting as a consulting service provider is in charge of reconnaissance work, namely observing the location of shipping lanes/port ponds, determining Benchmark points, collecting primary data, analyzing and initial hypotheses and making work plans. In addition to reconnaissance work, we also conducted hydrographic survey work, flow survey work, floating and bottom sediment sampling, soil investigation surveys, modeling of wave and current patterns, design of harbor shipping lanes/ponds and dumping areas and sedimentation patterns, and modeling  dimensions in the shipping channel area and port pool for ship maneuvering.
