The Regional Road Development Project (RRDP) is implemented in four provinces in Indonesia, namely West Kalimantan and North Kalimantan; Central Java and East Java, are considered to address important national or strategic road corridors in northern Kalimantan and southern Java to promote economic growth in underdeveloped and impoverished areas and of Indonesia. Rehabilitation, capacity expansion, and construction of new roads will improve connectivity and access to services. In particular, improving road infrastructure in southern Java will lead to increased economic growth to improve market access and attract investment. The construction of the road network in Kalimantan will ensure that economic development will occur in less developed and remote areas.

PT. Pola Agung Consulting in the regional road development project (RRDP) is trusted as a provider of consulting services in West and North Kalimantan in planning and supervising construction.

The project is located on Sambas – Tanjung Harapan, West Kalimantan along 13 Kilometers and Simpang Tiga – Simanggaris roads, West Kalimantan with a length of 21.6 Kilometers and is expected to increase traffic flow and to support socio-economic development in Kalimantan.

To support the achievement of these objectives, it is necessary to build several strategic roads, especially to widen the existing roads to improve the quality of transportation services and develop community economic growth.

Based on Government Regulation Number 11 of 2006 concerning Types of Construction Activities Required EIA, for certain projects, it is necessary to prepare an AMDAL document that becomes a work plan and/or environmental guideline for the environmental management and monitoring program.

In its implementation, PT. Pola Agung Consulting is tasked with planning and compiling engineering designs and environmental impact control documents (AMDAL). Supervision of construction work is also the main task of this work package to ensure that the entire series of AMDAL guidelines, specifications, and engineering designs can be implemented in accordance with the quality, cost, and timelines of implementation.
