The Relocation of the Porong-Gempol Toll Road replaces the Porong-Gempol toll road, which was closed based on the Decree of the Minister of Public Works No. 394/KPTS/M/2006 dated November 30, 2006, regarding the Partial Closure of the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road. The closure of this toll road section was carried out because the section could no longer be used for vehicle traffic due to the Lapindo mudflow since May 2006.

The work location is flanked by the Porong-Gempol arterial road or in the middle of the arterial road. The Porong-Gempol Toll Road section is divided into two packages, namely:

• Porong – Kejapanan (including Ramp 4), Sta. 34+860 – 38+672.5
• Porong – Kejapanan, Sta. 38+672.5 – 41+200

PT. Pola Agung, as PMI Consultant, works professionally, independently and is responsible to the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) to achieve the quality of toll road construction implementation according to the standards set in the technical specifications and accordance with the Final Engineering Plan.

The scope of duties and responsibilities of PMI Consultants are as follows:

• Supervise and control the quality of toll road construction carried out by BUJT to meet the quality standards set in the technical specifications and accordance with the Final Engineering Plan (RTA).
• Supervise the fulfillment of the construction implementation schedule so that it is by the implementation schedule agreed in the construction implementation contract.
• Increase the capacity of BPJT in controlling the quality of toll road construction in Indonesia.
